Ginger Habanero Hot Sauce
The Habanero Golden (Yellow) is high-yielding and the plant will grow about 30” high (75 cm). The yellow habañero chile pepper is characteristically lantern-shaped, maturing from light green to a beautiful golden-orange.
The flavor of fresh ginger is slightly peppery and sweet, with a pungent and spicy aroma. Much like garlic, fresh ginger mellows with cooking and turns bitter if burned. The ground form is not as strongly flavored but has a warm bite and a little sweetness.
Ginger is the dried knobby-shaped rhizome of the plant Zingiber officinale. The Latin name, zingiber, derives from interpretations of the name in Indic languages where ginger was described as “shaped like a deer’s antler (horn)”.
Ingredients: Fermented yellow habanero peppers, garlic, onion, carrots, ginger, lime juice, apple cider, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, distilled water.
